What Is Medical Screening for a Surrogate?

Medical screening is an important part of the surrogacy process. It helps the medical team evaluate whether a potential surrogate is medically prepared to move forward with the journey.

Depending on the clinic and individual circumstances, the screening process may include medical history review, physical examinations, laboratory testing, imaging, and other assessments recommended by the medical team.

For our surrogates, we understand that this can feel like a significant step. Our goal is to provide guidance and support throughout the process, helping each surrogate feel informed and comfortable along the way.

Having family or loved ones nearby can bring extra encouragement during important appointments.
