· Compensation & Financials

How much will I earn as a surrogate with CSE?2026-10-19T06:50:08+00:00

CSE offers one of the most competitive compensation packages in the industry.

Base compensation $50,000~$100,000 (Compensation depends on factors such as your surrogacy experience, age, health, and location.)

Your $12,000 benefit package is designed to support you throughout your journey and may include allowances for maternity clothing, monthly expenses, wellness support, and other pregnancy-related needs.

All compensation details are clearly outlined in your legal contract before you begin, ensuring full transparency and peace of mind.

Will I have any out-of-pocket costs?2026-02-14T01:17:45+00:00

Surrogates should not carry financial burdens during their journey. In some cases, you may need to prepay small expenses such as obtaining medical records or local travel to screening appointments. However, all approved surrogacy-related costs are fully reimbursed with a receipt. Intended parents are responsible for the financial aspects of the journey, and our team ensures you are not financially burdened at any stage of the process.

Who pays for travel if I live outside of California?2026-02-14T01:18:10+00:00

All required travel related to screening, embryo transfer, or medical appointments is covered by the intended parents. We coordinate logistics to make travel as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Matching timelines vary, but many surrogates are matched within just 1 weeks after completing screening. We carefully align values, expectations, and communication preferences to create strong, lasting matches.

Yes. Matching is a mutual process. You will be able to ask us any questions about the IP(s) as well as get to know them through the match meeting and have the opportunity to connect before making any commitment.

Surrogacy laws vary by state. Our legal team ensures all agreements comply with state laws and that you are fully protected before any medical procedures begin.

No, we will buy you new medical and life insurance that suitable for surrogacy.

In most cases, yes. Many surrogates continue care with their trusted OB after confirmation of pregnancy, provided they meet medical guidelines.

Once you’re matched with the intended parents, you’ll need to cancel your Medical/Medicaid — if it’s not cancelled, we won’t be able to purchase other insurance for you. Please note that after the cancellation is requested, it can take up to two months to be fully processed. We will purchase medical and life insurance for you. After the baby is born, you can reapply for Medical/Medicaid.

How long should I wait after giving birth before becoming a surrogate?2026-02-14T01:25:52+00:00

Generally, you should wait at least 6–12 months after a healthy delivery before starting another surrogacy journey, depending on your doctor’s recommendation. We have surrogates who gets matched immediately in a new journey just after birth, that’s because the process takes some time, during the process you will attend screenings, appointments, and clinics which takes up the wait.

What if I’m still carrying extra weight from my last pregnancy?2026-02-14T01:26:17+00:00

Each case is evaluated individually. BMI guidelines exist for medical safety, but we’re happy to review your specific situation.

Embryo transfer decisions are guided by medical recommendations and outlined in your legal agreement. Your health and safety are always the top priority.
